Q: Is there a competitive ranking system?
A: Yes, See Rankings and Ranked.
Q: What is the difference between my competitive rank and my progression level?
A: Your competitive ranks are based on wins and losses in the Ranked playlists. Your progression (or XP) level increases based on various accomplishments, such as kills, assists, and wins. It will never decrease. Progression experience can be earned in any Playlist. See XP for more info.
Q: Does Splitgate support controllers on PC?
A: Yes. Splitgate partially supports controller play. Xbox controllers will work automatically. You will have to download and install the DS4 Windows application to use a PS4 controller. For Astro controllers, you will need to download the C40 TR Configuration Software.
Q: Why can't I fire my weapon sometimes?
A: This is a bug. To fix this, open settings -> Video. Change the Display Mode from "Fullscreen" to "Borderless Window". If "Borderless Window" is already selected, change it to "Fullscreen" then change it back. Restart the game. If your hardware experiences this issue you won't be able to use fullscreen without facing this issue until the bug is fixed.
